Champaner Pavagadh

Being included in the top list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites all over the world, this awesome archaeological park set in the middle of the city of Champaner and among the Pavagadh Mountains is one of the most preferred locations in Gujarat.

Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park keeps a lot of traditional as well as legendary importance in itself. The Park consists of numerous figures of splendid architectural wonders composed of both Hindu & Islamic styles of design. Another exciting part of trivia regarding this place is that the mountain of Pavagadh is assumed to be a chunk of the Himalayas that was initially taken by Hanuman to Lanka in the Ramayana epic. With such rich history to its name, this makes up for a really fascinating spot to visit

Not many accommodation facilities available in Champaner. But one can set their platform as Halol or Vadodara and enjoy the elegance of the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park. One will not find a lot of dining locations near the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, irrespective of the fact that Gujarat is quite well known for its awesome delicacies. No particular delicacies are followed but if you’re at it, you must not skip out on the Gujarati thalis.
